This week I'll Probably Watch... Hot Tub Time Machine

A hot tube that is also a time machine has got to be the most ridiculous concept for a movie that any of us has ever heard of, and that's exactly why I have to see this movie.

I don't expect a great plot. I don't expect great performances. I don't expect anything except to sit back and relax and enjoy a movie that obviously isn't taking itself seriously and that's okay, it's been a while that we've had a movie we can go see with a group of our goofy friends.

This Week I'll Probably Watch... Repo Men

I'm still not sure what this movie is about really. I've watched the trailer several times and I get the concept but I don't see the meaning behind it.

Either way, I do want to see this film. I like Jude Law, and I'm not sure if I've seen him in this type of role before. This should be interesting.

This Week I'll Probably Watch... The Green Zone

I couldn't possibly allow myself to miss the premiere of a Paul Greengrass film. He is at the top of the list of my favorite directors.

In The Green Zone, Greengrass teams up once more with, the always awesome, Matt Damon who is absolutely incapable of giving a poor performance.

I'm really looking forward to this one. Paul Greengrass is a master at making you feel like you're right in the middle of the action.

If you see someone in the theater ducking and rolling to avoid being shot, go over, slap me in the back of the head and remind me that it's just a movie.

This Week I'll Probably Watch... Alice in Wonderland

I actually don't remember much of the original Alice in Wonderland, I must have been twelve or so when I saw it, and I haven't seen it again since but, I do remember having enjoyed it.
At first, I thought this would be a remake of the original, but it turns out this will actually be a sequel, with a 19-year-old Alice returning to wonderland.
I don't see how this movie could possibly not be good. It's directed by Tim Burton, who was born to make these kind of films and it's a Disney film which means It's not a low-budget movie, so they definitely had the money to add what I'm sure will be amazing visuals.
Looks like this weekend... I'll see you in wonderland.
