I'm not expecting much from this movie, but I hope I'm wrong.

I don't know about you, but when I would fantasize about a live-action G.I. Joe movie, the first think that would pop into my head was those awesome Tod McFarlane military action figures, you would see next to all the Spawn action figures at any local toy store.

This movie, (from the trailers) looks nothing like that. From what I can tell the movie revolves around a mechanical suite that give the wearer Super Soldier abilities.

I don't know what to make of that since I don't remember that ever being in the cartoons.

With that said however, this is after all, a movie based on a cartoon ( and comics) so it's safe to say that this movie should be enjoyable as long as it's full of entertaining characters and action sequences.

I am picking this as my movie of the week, but not so much because I really want to see it, but rather because there just isn't anything ells opening up this weekend that I feel like seeing... I hope I am pleasantly surprised
